E2 Trucking Inc. is pleased to let you know we have acquired PK Friesen Trucking Ltd. of Rosenort, MB.
We’ve always seen PK Friesen as having a similar culture as our company. The lanes that they’ve operated in for many years also fit really well with what we offer.
For the last 10 years, our E2 team has focused mainly on helping customers with bulk commodity shipments between Western Canada and the United States.
This addition will complement our existing cross-border bulk freight business, increasing the number of trucks in our fleet from approximately 25 to 40.
It will also give us more domestic trucking capacity, with B-trains operating across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. A typical route could include hauling corn or distillers’ dried grains (DDGs) west from Manitoba to southern Alberta, while bringing pulses and other crops east.
This acquisition will keep jobs and ownership here in southern Manitoba. I see it as an investment in our local area, and in the expertise and talent of our drivers. We’re excited to have PK Friesen’s drivers join our team.
This growth in our business also coincides with an important milestone for E2, as we celebrated our tenth anniversary this past month.
